I tried out Wantable this month, primarily because I had found a 30% coupon code that was expiring that day, so it was a bit of an impulse buy. The box shipped super quickly, which was nice because a lot of subscription boxes have waitlists and there's nothing that puts a damper on your excitement than waiting several weeks for your new stuff.
Wantable has a pretty great quiz system that I wish other subscription boxes would use. Not only do you get to say what kinds of items you like, you also have a "dislikes" list and they promise never to send you anything from that list! This includes not only clothing types like "shapewear" or "socks" but also designs like "thongs"or "neutrals."

This tank is super soft and the color is just gorgeous so this was a keeper. It's the perfect color for spring/summer and even though it was classified as "lounge wear" I'm totally adding it to my every day tanks.
I can't tell who the manufacturer is but I'm thinking this is an Asian company because the inside of the shirt has this logo
And also because, as you can see from the above photo, this shirt is a "large" but fits me like a small.
I'm wondering if that is how Wantable is able to keep their business going: by using off-brand items or little-known international companies. This trend continues with...

This fabric is so soft and the set is so cute. The shorts fit just snugly enough to make my butt look good and while I typically have a problem with tops like this because if they fit me right in the torso, the cups are way too small, this is not a problem with this brand.
The Wantable staff sent me a larger size because they said the brand runs small and the size they sent fit perfectly. I'm really impressed that they took the time to realize this and didn't send me items that were too small!
I googled the brand and was having trouble finding them when I noticed the top had this tag on it:
Unfortunately, and oddly (and a bit sketch), this domain appears to be for sale. I'm not sure if the brand went out of business or never actually purchased the domain or changed their name and this is just an old tag or what. The questions this raised cast a bit of a shadow over an otherwise sweet deal.

At leas this was a brand I had heard of and who had a legitimate website. These panties seem like they would be comfortable but I really dislike the red white and blue (and purple and black?) camo. Ew. Just.....ew.
Luckily Wantable has a return option. I can print off a free shipping label and they will refund me the "my price" amount. They do give you an incentive to keep everything in your box by saying they will give you a $4 credit on your next box, but I can't see how this would ever be a goo enough incentive since there aren't going to be that many items that are under $4...
All in all I wasn't super impressed with my box, even though I absolutely love their quiz process and that they include a slip telling you the value of each item. I prefer boxes with brands I know or at least can repurchase from if I like them! I did cancel this subscription and now all that is left to do is wait for my next box of goodies from someone else!
