First: Credit where credit is due
I found my social media icons at Design Bolts, and placed them with assistance from this blog by Emily.
Now the boring stuff...
Thou shalt not steal
All written, photo, and video content is mine (CM Stanton, from awakenmyhearttolife.com), unless otherwise stated.I'm flattered that you love my pictures, but please do not steal them. All I ask is for a simple link back to my site, or the post the picture is from originally.
If you would like to purchase copies of any photographs, I am more than happy to oblige. Please contact me at mcstanton1505@gmail.com
If you steal anyway, know that I am protected by DMCA and they will get you.
Thou shalt not sue
I am not a professional traveler in any sense of the word. I have no formal education in foreign relations. I make no guarantee for any of the products, services, or experiences I recommend.Yes, I'm a nurse, but that does not mean that you should rely on me for medical advice of any kind. For example: I am not responsible if you take my recommendation of using Permethrin to keep bed bugs away and you have some sort of reaction to it.
Everything you do in your life is your own responsibility and you act at your own risk. I fully encourage you to do your own research and carefully consider all possibilities and risks before taking any action.
I shalt be honest

That's nice, but what does that mean?It means all those links to products inside a blog entry and the amazon ads on the side of the page are helping me pay for the site and continue my travels. When you use my links to go to their website, and then order items from them, I receive a percentage of the profit. Cool, huh? This does not mean, however, that I have any relationship with Amazon.com or that they support my positions on anything. I am also not responsible for any of their actions.
Disqus helps you find new and interesting content, discussions and products. Some sponsors and ecommerce sites may pay us for these recommendations and links. Learn more or give us feedback.
Well what does that mean!?Only that when I switched programs for the commenting widget (because Blogger's was giving you headaches), that they also added some advertisements in the form of recommended articles and websites. I allowed this because I found out about the company when they were used on another blog I frequent, and I was actually interested in the articles they suggested. Don't feel like you have to read them, but they are there if you are looking for something to tide you over between posts here :)
I am a BzzAgent and Influenster
From time to time I am provided with free or discounted items in exchange for sharing my opinion about the product. I receive no monetary compensation for my reviews, and I am encouraged to always be honest, even if that means giving a bad review. The purpose of these organizations is to spread word of mouth about products, not to promote them over other products. I will always disclose within the review itself if I have received the item for free or for a discounted price because of my affiliations.
Thou shalt keep thy privacy

This is generally used for geotargeting purposes (showing New York real estate ads to someone in New York, for example) or showing certain ads based on specific sites visited (such as showing cooking ads to someone who frequents cooking sites).
