I have wanted a vanity since I was a little girl so when Jamie said a few weeks ago that he was planning on buying me one I literally teared up. Apparently he knew he had to buy this one the minute he saw it and he gave it to me before I headed out for bridal shower.
And faaaaaaaaar behind in second place is....
Where The Light Is eyeshadow quad by Kathleen Lights // ColourPop // $20
Ok, so confessions. I have been a little obsessed with Kathleen Lights, and she collaborated with ColourPop to create 4 eyeshadows and they are all beautiful. I'm still learning how to apply them because they're a cross between a mousse and a cream, but I love them, I mean, just look at this gorgeous combo:
She also made a lip color called Lumiere, which is gorgeous.
ColourPop prices are so affordable: $5 for lip colors and eyeshadows, and $8 for blushes, bronzers and highlighters! Free shipping on orders of $30 or more and you get a $5 coupon for signing up for their newsletter!
(I also bought Dani's lippie Frida and eyequad Metamorphosis the night it dropped, but haven't had enough time to play with them yet.)

MUABS
This is a website for people to sell their cosmetics and accessories to one another. It requires a certain level of trust and it helps if you know exactly what you want. That being said, I've gotten super lucky a couple times.
I first tried the site because I wanted to try out St Tropez line of self tanners and found the lot in the top left corner for only $10 including shipping! The girl was a few days late in responding/shipping it so she threw in a couple extra samples!
I also grabbed a massive steal by getting 7 GlamGlow samples for $10. 0.5oz of the Thirsty Mud is $19 from Sephora and there are 4 packets of 0.1oz each, plus 2 packets of Super Mud and one of Bright Mud. Totally worth it!
My favorite purchase wasn't so much a bargain as I was just glad to find it! It was the roundtop cosmetic bag from the limited edition elf/SOHO/Walgreens/Disney Ariel collaboration last summer. Ariel is my favorite Disney princess and these bags were GORGEOUS! Apparently everyone thought so because you can't find them anywhere, even though the Aladdin and Frozen ones are everywhere. It was $17.50 with shipping, which stings a little because they were only $7.99 originally but I'm just happy it's MINE now!!
Tardis Blueprints T-Dress // Geeky U // $20.99.
I'm obsessed with this dress. The company not so much (more on that in a minute) but the dress, oh my God. I'm a huge Doctor Who fan and this is a beautiful and adorable homage. I just love it. It hugs my curves and makes me look great, and it can be worn with chucks for a dressed down look but would also be cute with dressier shoes and some bracelets.
However.
The company leaves a lot to be desired.
First of all -- long story alert -- I ordered the dress and a shirt for Jamie at the same time. After a week or so (these are hand printed shirts so the turnaround is understandably a little longer than if you ordered something of less quality off of Amazon or something) I received an email that they had shipped together.
But when the package arrived it only contained Jamie's shirt and the package had clearly never been sealed!! (The protective strip that keep the adhesive from prematurely sealing the bag was still intact and had "Missing TARDIS dress" written on it!)
Luckily Jamie's shirt hadn't fallen out or been damaged.
I immediately emailed Geeky U to let them know what had happened and they explained it must have been mixed up with completed orders but that they would reprocess my order and send my dress if I would confirm my address and dress size, which I did immediately. I assumed that since my dress simply had not been packaged, I would get it really quickly but a week went by and I hadn't even received another email so I emailed them a second time to check on it. Another week went by and still nothing so I sent a third email. Still nothing. A few days later the dress arrived, over 2 weeks after I emailed them about the mistake and without any further communication from them.
Furthermore, they have deleted the two reviews I left for them, despite having given them 4/5 stars. They did contact me the day after I left the reviews to offer me a free shirt as an apology for their poor customer service, buuuuuuuuut after I replied to them with which shirt I would like, I have heard nothing from them in a couple weeks. Surprise surprise.
***SKIP TO HERE FOR THE SUM-UP *** I would order this t-shirt dress, but I would definitely keep an eye out for it to make sure it arrived and I wouldn't expect it to arrive promptly or without difficulty.
