A Farewell to Feet (being swollen and tired and ouchy)
Bittersweet freedom arrived this morning at 0800 as I was escorted out of the hospital after my last shift. (Escorted because otherwise my freedom would have been short-lived when I got trapped in a stairwell, since I had already turned in my badge that unlocks the door).
